Live With Passion

Our lesson today comes from the song “Live Like You Were Dying” by Tim McGraw.

Years ago, my hubby and I decided to put riding a roller coaster in each state on our bucket list, but I have been known to shy away from activities because I would focus on the danger involved in the activity.

NO MORE!

I now have a number of things I would like to do, to try, to accomplish before my time on this planet is over: experience a zipline, dive John Pennakamp Coral Reef State Park in the Keys, Dive the Great Barrier Reef, go up in a helicopter, thru-hike the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine, and the list goes on.

I can’t focus on the “what might happen” because the “what might happen” could happen during activities that I believe are safe. I can’t let the unknown stop me. Well, I can’t let the unknown stop me if it looks safe and I have, or could obtain, the skills or endurance necessary for the activity.

Look out world, here I come!

How exciting. We went up in a helicopter in Hawaii – it was awesome! My hubby and I LOVE ziplining and we do it everywhere we go – We’ve been 10 times: in 3 countries and 6 states.

I’m cheering you on – do it!!
