Lean On Me

Our lesson today comes from the words in Bill Withers’s song “Lean on Me” from 1972.
Life can be hard. It can throw us curve balls that we aren’t expecting.
How do you react when life gets difficult?
Do you bottle your emotions up inside?
Most psychologists tell us that is not a healthy reaction.
As the song says, we need to “swallow our pride” and ask for help or just talk to someone. It doesn’t show that you are weak; it shows that you are human.
Then, when your life is on an even keel, it will be your turn to be the friend that someone needs.
Thanks for reading.
