NEW BEGINNINGS AND LEARNING

I am impatient, but I am a learner. I am a procrastinator, but I am a learner. I am a retired teacher, but I am a learner.

Being impatient, I am having a problem waiting until all facets of this blog are in place.

Being a procrastinator, I could push back my personal launch date from March 1 to April 1. But what would that solve? Nothing. I still wouldn’t have things as precise as I would like. I’m kind of a perfectionist as well.

This being said, I am abruptly launching this new blog. Ready or not. Because if I don’t launch it, I might never launch it.

(I must laugh here because I am having difficulty getting WordPress to go live. Go figure.)

I started blogging several years ago. (No, I won’t tell you exactly how many years ago.) Over my blogging years, I have been given numerous suggestions: blog daily, make sure your blog fits a niche otherwise you will confuse your readers – just to name a few. Those suggestions led me to juggle six blogs.

As 2017 dawned, I decided that I would no longer stress myself out by following changing advice. I decided that I would do what works for me. After all, if it doesn’t work for me, I probably will not follow through. That is part of my procrastination. Plus, I usually have difficulty doing things the way people tell me to.

So, welcome to Coffee on my Porch.

I will be taking the month of March to fully develop this blog and I will probably be posting daily, just to get back in the habit of writing.
